Recipe of Espresso Fudge Cake

I was deciding a gift fro my sister on her birthday. Then I thought to bake a cake for her as she is a chocolate lover so I found out different recipes of chocolate cakes through net and then decided a cake for her which will look really yummillicious. The cake was Espresso fudge cake. And hence I decided to share with our readers the Recipe of Espresso Fudge Cake. I am sharing this recipe with all of you so that you can give the same surprise like I did and I am sure you will like it. Espresso is coffee which is mixed in boiling water under pressure through strong coffee beans. It is delicious and mouth watering cake it serves 3-4 people and can be prepared almost in half an hour.

Ingredients

  • Eggs  4
  • Brown sugar 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder 1 ounce
  • Melted chocolate 4 ounce with ¼ cup milk
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Flour  7 ounce
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Baking soda  ½ tsp
  • Butter  8 ounces
  • Burned sugar syrup 2 tbs

Ingredients for Ganache

  • Cream 8 ounces
  • Grated chocolate 16 ounce
  • Butter 1 ounce
  • Coffee 1 tbsp leveled
  • Icing sugar 1 ounce

Recipe Method

Firstly we greased and lined 2 8 inches of sandwich tins and then preheat oven to 180 degree centigrade. Take a bowl add butter and beat it then add in brown sugar and melted chocolate, now start adding eggs in it and only one egg at a time, as well as add sieved flour and baking powder in this mixture beat it till all eggs and flour has been used. Now put this mixture in well greased 2 sandwich pan, then bake it on 180 degree Centigrade for 35 to 40 minutes. After baking put the cake in a plate and cut it in into layers.

Ganache

Beat the cream, grated chocolate butter coffee and icing sugar in separate bowl and spread it on the layers of cake.Put this ganache mixture on the top and sides of cake and garnish with chocolate curls or chocolate flakes.
