Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), on 14th May, announced the date for the conduct of re-elections in some 43 polling stations of NA-250 constituency in Karachi, reported The Express Tribune.
One may say it as the result of protests held by PTI supporters all over the country. Pakistan Tehreek Insaf supporters have been protesting against rigging in general elections in major cities of the country including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, London and on the web.
ECP gave orders to returning officer of corresponding districts to conduct re-elections in polling stations where polling was delayed of NA-250 constituency.
Although PTI supporters have been demanding re-elections in Karachi, entirely and not solely in NA-250 constituency. With this decision of ECP, Khushbakht Shujaat’s demand for the conduct of re-elections in NA-250 constituency is fulfilled.
