Good and healthy food is important for all of us. Sometimes we all get bored by the regular stuff we eat. So, to keep the excitement alive, always try new things at home. Apart from all the fancy food items, you can try simple recipes. They are easy and fun to cook. Today I am going to share a very delicious recipe with you named Chicken Macaroni Cheese Style. This recipe is very easy to make. We all eat macaroni but this recipe is very different. If you are a food lover then you should definitely try this one.
The list of ingredients is given below.
- Chicken breast chopped2
- Macaroni boiled½ packet
- Potatoes (boiled & mashed) 2
- Crushed black pepper1 tsp
- Saltto taste
- Milk½ liter
- Flour roasted3 – 4 tbsp
- Sugar1 tsp
- Fresh cream4 tbsp
- Garlic chopped3 – 4 cloves
- Red capsicum chopped1
- Parsley chopped¼ bunch
- Mozzarella cheese100 gm
- Cheddar cheese100 gm
- Oil2 tbsp.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, add in 3 – 4 cloves of chopped garlic, sauté till golden brown.
Now cut chicken breast into small cubes, add to wok and sauté till golden brown.
Add ¼ bunch of chopped parsley, 1 chopped red capsicum, ½ packet of boiled macaroni, salt to taste, 1 tsp crushed black pepper and 1 tsp sugar. Toss very well.
Remove from fire and keep aside.
In a separate pan heat ½ liter of milk, add in 3 – 4 tbsp roasted flour and cook till thickens.
Then add 4 tbsp fresh cream and macaroni mixture. Toss it very well.
Spread mixture in an oven proof dish, make layer of boiled mashed potatoes on top.
Then spread 100 gm grated cheddar cheese and 100 gm grated mozzarella cheese on top.
Lastly bake it in a preheated oven on 200 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes.
Remove from oven, to make it more presentable decorate it properly and serve hot.
