Chicken Boneless Malai Handi – Recipe

Chicken is one of the most favourite dishes, mostly people like it, and cook it, because this is a delicious dish.

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 1 kg (normal size)
  • Oil
  • Yogurt ½ cups
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 2 onions (small size)
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Ginger and garlic paste ½ tablespoons
  • Black pepper 1/3 tablespoons

  • Garam masala ½ tablespoons
  • Red chilies 1 tablespoon
  • Green chili 4-6
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chinese salt ½ tablespoons
  • Cumin seeds ½ tablespoons
  • Fenugreek leaves ½ tablespoons
  • Fresh mint and coriander leaves

 Procedure of cooking

  • First of all wash the chicken
  • Now blend onion and tomatoes

  • Take a pot (clay pot) put in oil and heat it
  • Add onion and tomatoes in the oil and fry them
  • Now add green chilies and cook till that mixture leave the oil
  • After this keep aside the mixture of onion and tomatoes
  • Now fry for ginger and garlic paste (in the same clay pot which use for fry other mixture) for 1 minute

  • Add chicken and fry almost for 10 to 15 minutes

  • Add onion and tomatoes mixture in it with half cup of water
  • Add red chili, Chinese salt, cumin seeds, and salt

  • When wait till water of chicken is dried
  • Now add yogurt and cook
  • Now cook till mixture leave the oil
  • Add fenugreek leaves and gram masala  cooked more 2 minutes

  • Before serving add black pepper and cream

 Garnishing

Garnishing is very important part of cooking because garnishing make your dish look more delicious, garnishing with green chilies and fresh mint and coriander leaves, and serve with naan or chapati.

Note: I used a clay pot for cooking, you can cook in different pot but if you want to enjoy a typical handi flavour, and then you should cook in a clay pot.

35 to 40 minutes

Serves people:

3 to 4

 You may change in quantity of red chili etc according your taste.
